Groceries on the shelf, dignity at the door.
Keizer Community Food Bank provides free groceries to residents of Keizer and northern Salem, Oregon. We run a choice-model pantry so clients select the foods their family will actually eat, reducing waste and preserving dignity. We partner with Oregon Food Bank and local farms to keep our shelves full year round.

What we do
Foster homes, not kennels.
Animals waiting on adoption with us sleep in real beds, get used to kids and other pets, and arrive at their new family with a behavior profile built over weeks, not a label stuck to a crate.
Read our storyChoice Pantry
Open Tuesdays and Thursdays. Families shop fresh produce, dairy, protein, and dry goods. Average household leaves with eight days of groceries.
Mobile Pantry
A refrigerated van visits senior housing, rural trailer parks, and migrant farm worker camps weekly. We go where transportation is a barrier.
Backpack Program
Weekend food bags distributed through five Keizer elementary schools so kids who rely on school lunches eat on weekends too.
Every dollar moves an animal closer to home.
Our budget is public. Over 91% of donations go directly to animal care, not overhead or fundraising.
